The problem is that most of my opponents in this game are at least 5 kilometers away and are armed with a heavy laser weapon of some sort. And wood is difficult to find on a high tech ship made of futuristic metals.
I told the last guy who popped my pod while I was mining how good I am at ancient martial arts. He was very impressed at my "frozen corpse" martial arts combat stance as he rolled on by and picked at the fragmented pieces of my shattered mining ship.
I guess that's something to do with the fact that most Player killers are like Michael Jackson, They moonwalk and molest miners a lot.
